The Council on Accreditation (COA) is currently recruiting additional After School Endorsers - Summertime is a great time to take advantage of this professional development opportunity. No travel is required, as all training is provided electronically as a four-part self-paced training and webinar series, and there is no financial cost to Endorser candidates or to the organization for this training. Being an Endorser for COA allows you the opportunity to support the National Accreditation of After School programs, as well as both travel to areas you have wanted to visit and explore, and gain the insight and knowledge of what other programs around the country and world are doing to benefit your own program. All travel and lodging costs for conducting site visits, along with a per diem for meals and incidentals is provided for Endorsers. If you are interested, or know someone who may be interested, please begin by completing a short online survey so we can send you an Endorser application. You will then be asked to submit a few required attachments along with your completed application. The brief survey can be found online athttp://cts.vresp.com/c/?CouncilonAccreditati/1a82218d1b/d58c315ab1/51caad752a/sect=5&cont=2615. (Posted 7/2/10).
