According to the 2005 US Census estimates, there are approximately 27,000 Middle School age youth living in Boston. They account for 33% of the total school age youth population (ages 5-19) in the city. (source: US Census)
The Middle School OST Network is a resource for after school providers seeking to improve service to these Middle School youth.
